Things You Should Know - Dishwasher Repair FAQ

  • Always make sure you run the hot water in your sink before you turn on your dishwasher.  Dishwasher soap and the popular pods require hot water to break down.  Your dishwasher is likely running cold water through the first cycle of the wash process, which often won't break down the pods or soap you put in the washer.  Running your sink to get the hot water to the dishwasher line before you start the dishwasher will ensure that hot water is used in the initial cleaning cycle and properly breaks down the soap to clean your dishes.

 

  • Dishwasher not draining?  If your dishwasher isn't draining, here are a few things to check.  Check your drain line for kinks.  Try to determine if the line is potentially clogged with food or debris.  Check and see if your garbage disposal is clogged, they share the same disposal line.

 

  • Dishwasher not cleaning properly?  Most people do not properly clean off their dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.  Dishwasher are not meant to handle large food particles.  Expecting your dishwasher to act as a garbage can and a cleaning machine will cause dishwasher failure.  Clean off those plates, bowls and silverware properly before putting them in the dishwasher.

 

  • Dishwasher door leaking?  Clean the door seals.  Overtime the seals may get debris that cause cracks and leaking.  Also, make sure the spray arm is rotating properly and it's not blocked.  It may be continually spraying in a direction that causes leaking.

Brian is an awful person, see yelp reviews constant complaints about him. I have reported them to the BBB and Attorney general as I was told I would be refunded my service call which was never done since they said they could fix my issue same day then came out to tell me nope they had to come another day because someone didn't write out the ticket right and they didn't bring the right parts. So I had to take off another day of work.....which isn't okay. Still they said they would make it right. Called Brian again bc still no refund and he told me this never happened. Then was reading my ticket and said items were broken nothing was broken they have my ticket clearly mixed with someone elses.

On 12/1, we went out to your home to secure the dishwasher. We were told to bring out side mount brackets. When our team arrived they noticed your unit was missing the brackets that mount to the countertop. So we had to order those OEM parts for you to secure the dishwasher properly. You didn't purchase that dishwasher from us, so we had to inspect it to make sure you had everything you needed. 4 days later we installed the dishwasher unit back on Dec. 5th, 2025. According to Brian, he never spoke to you prior to this morning and has no recollection of promising you a service call fee back on this repair.

I picked out a floor model dishwasher on a Friday, it was installed a week later even with some old electrical issues (an electrician came right out and installed an outlet).
